Known locally as Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, this is one of the largest and oldest Gurudwaras in Raipur, situated prominently along Station Road in Moudhapara, Janta Colony, Raipur, Chhattisgarh 492009

Visitors frequently describe it as “very old, good & peaceful”, a “calming experience” with a strong ambience of spiritual reflection

The naming reflects broader ties to the historic Singh Sabha movement (late 19th century), which worked to reform and standardize Sikh practices and reclaim Gurdwara management under organized Sikh institutions

Local gurudwaras often adopt the “Singh Sabha” title to signify alignment with that reformist tradition, emphasizing Khalsa values and simplicity
