Village Bhikhi is can be reached on Patiala-Bhawanigarh-Mansa Road.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji reached this village via Pandher, Rajia, Khiva Kalan. A Desu, a village chief, came to know about Guru Tegh Bahadur's visit and came for Guru Sahib's darshan.

Guru Tegh Bahadur asked about the desu's clothes. The desu said he worshiped Sultan Server Peer. After Guru Tegh Bahadur's teachings the desu became a Sikh.

Guru Tegh Bahadur presented the desu with five arrows and told him to worship 'Satnam'. Guru Sahib blessed the desu's family and said the desu's control over his village would continue if he remained true.

Guru Tegh Bahadur stayed here for a few days and then left to continue his journey. However, the Desu's wife learnt that her husband was now following Guru Tegh Bahadur, she was displeased, she became angry and broke Guru Sahib's arrows.
