About Us

Founded in 2008 and registered in July 2009, the Shri Guru Ram Dass Blood Donation Sewa Society is a non-profit volunteer-based NGO operating out of Amritsar, Punjab. It honors the legacy of Guru Ram Dass Ji, the 4th Sikh Guru, by promoting voluntary blood donation and broader social reform.

Mission & Activities

  • Promote voluntary blood donation across communities
  • Organize donation camps and support government blood banks
  • Mobilize emergency donors quickly
  • Assist underprivileged patients financially (tests, medicines)
  • Fight social evils: dowry, substance abuse, female foeticide
  • Run cultural/social programs and disaster relief services
