Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust is dedicated to the social-economic transformation of rural and remote areas of India, focusing especially on weaker and socially underprivileged groups. We aim to foster this growth through the physical, social, cultural, and economic development of rural people, groups, and institutions.

The core ethos of the trust is driven by its Managing Trustee, S.P. Singh Oberoi, a 67-year-old, Dubai-based businessman originally from a small town in Punjab, India. Serving as the Chairman of the Apex Group of Companies, he is a businessman by profession but a profound philanthropist by nature.

Keeping with the spirit of giving back to society, he firmly believes in the following philosophy:
