Kudrat Welfare Trust, Chandigarh

When life calls for help, humanity must respond

About Us

Kudrat Welfare Trust is a government-registered public charitable organisation founded on a simple but unwavering belief: when life calls for help, humanity must respond.

Born from lived experience and shaped by conscience, the Trust exists to stand beside individuals in moments of vulnerability and to build pathways that strengthen communities over time. Our work is grounded, inclusive, and driven by responsibility rather than recognition.

We respond to urgent human needs through life-saving and support-based interventions, while thoughtfully expanding into wider areas of public welfare, social justice, and community development. Some initiatives are active today; others are in structured planning, all guided by integrity, empathy, and long-term purpose.

What We Do

  • We support children and youth to reach their full potential.
  • We run shelter homes and schools for needy young people.
  • We run an affordable mess that provides meals to those who need them.
  • Our helpline offices can be approached at any time.
