Gurudwara Sri Thada Sahib, also called Gurudwara Patshahi Chevin Sahib, stands in the village of Singhpura in Baramulla district. After fulfilling Mai Bhag Bhari’s wish in Srinagar, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji came here, where an elderly Muslim saint, Bahlol Shah, served him with great devotion and told him of the water shortage that troubled this hilltop settlement.

Guru Sahib struck the ground with his barcha (spear), and a well of sweet water sprang up for the villagers to use freely — a well still drawn from today. Before continuing on towards Baramulla, Guru Sahib rested here, and the local people later built a thada (platform) where he had sat, giving the Gurudwara its name.
