Ghulal is a village located in the Ludhiana district of the State of Punjab.

Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji visited the site of this Gurdwara, located on the outskirts of Ghulal, after 1631 Battle of Gurusar while travelling to Kiratpur.

At the time there was a troublesome lion that local villagers were afraid of. It is said that Guru Hargobind liberated the lion.

On Puranmashi each month a Jhor mela is held by the local Sangat.

Gurdwara Sri Shastar Bhet Sahib marks the site where Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji arrived disguised as 'Uch Da Pir' carried on a Manji by Bhai Gani Khan and Bhai Nabi Khan. Guru Gobind Singh had come from Machhiwara after escaping from the mughal's at Chamkaur.
