Bhai Hameera was sent by Sri Guru Amar Das Ji to spread the message of Sikhi in this area.

Around 1631, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji arrived at village Sudhar from Daroli Bhai Ki via Madoke, Lopo, Sidhwaan etc.

Guru Hargobind stayed at Sudhar for about 6 months. While there, Guru Hargobind sent his Sikhs to village Heran to ask about the welfare of Bhai Hameera.

When the Sewaks asked about Bhai Hameera in Heran and said that Guru Hargobind had asked for milk from Bhai Sahib, the villagers laughed and said Bhai Hameera has only an ausar jhoti (a young female buffalo that hadn't started giving milk).
