Gurudwara Sri Guru Ka Taal Sahib
Delhi–Agra Road, Agra City  ·  Agra District, Uttar Pradesh

Gurudwara Sri Guru Ka Taal Sahib stands on the Delhi–Agra road in Agra. Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, travelling from Sri Anandpur Sahib with Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, Bhai Dyala Ji, Bhai Gurditta Ji, Bhai Udo Ji and Bhai Jaita Ji, halted here on the outskirts of Agra city, at what is now Gurudwara Sri Manji Sahib, standing in the same campus just beside this Gurudwara.

A goatherd named Hasan Ali, hoping to claim the reward Emperor Aurangzeb had announced for information about Guru Sahib, was given a precious ring and a shawl by Guru Sahib to sell for food. A suspicious shopkeeper reported the sale, and when the local Kotwal questioned Hasan Ali, the whole story came out. On meeting Guru Sahib and learning his identity, the Kotwal arrested him at once, and Guru Sahib was held for nine days in Bhora Sahib, a chamber that still lies beneath the Darbar Sahib of this Gurudwara, before being taken to Delhi under heavy guard.
