Referred to locally as “Gopinath Nagar Gurudwara,” it forms part of Guwahati’s network of Sikh places of worship.

This Gurdwara was established as an extension wing of the historic Fancy Bazaar Shri Guru Singh Sabha, located to serve the growing Sikh community in the Gopinath Nagar area, adjacent to the Guru Nanak School.
