Gurudwara Sri Triveni Sahib stands in the village of Basantpur in Bilaspur district, close to Gurudwara Sri Paur Sahib on the Punjab–Himachal border, just 12 km from Sri Anandpur Sahib. When the local villagers told Guru Gobind Singh Ji of a scarcity of water, Guru Sahib struck the ground with his barcha (spear), and a spring of sweet water rose at the spot — still flowing at the Gurudwara today.
