The first Gurdwara relates to the visit of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. When Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was at village Bhai Rupa (about 9 km's away), Bhai Rai Jodh invited Guru Ji to visit Kangar.
Kangar is located only a few kilometers from here. This place marks the site of Guru Hargobind's camp.
Bhai Rai Jodh brought Guru Hargobind back to his home which was a small fort in the village. This was the location that Bhai Bidhi Chand brought Guru Hargobind's second horse (which the mughals originally stole).
