Gurdwara Sri Tarri Sahib Ji

This Gurudwara commemorates the strategic escape of Guru Gobind Singh Ji during the night of 7–8 December 1705 (7–8 Poh). After leaving the besieged Garhi with Bhai Daya Singh, Bhai Dharam Singh, and Bhai Man Singh, Guru Ji climbed this mound and clapped loudly, declaring "Peer of Hind" to mislead Mughal forces
The trio echoed similar shouts from different locations, sowing confusion among the enemy and enabling Guru Ji’s safe departure from Chamkaur Sahib
The Punjabi term “Tarri” (or “Taari”) literally means “clap,” signifying the iconic moment of Guru’s departure declaration
