Gurudwara Sri Guru Ka Bagh Sahib
Patna, Bihar
Dhaulpura  ·  Patna City  ·  Bihar

Gurudwara Sri Guru Ka Bagh Sahib stands in the Dhaulpura area on the outskirts of Patna City, in what was once an orchard belonging to a local Nawab. On hearing of the birth of his son, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji hurried back from the eastern regions and, on Vaisakh Sudi 7, reached this very orchard.

Here the joyous sangat brought infant Gobind Rai Ji out in a palanquin, and father and son met for the first time. The tree under which Guru Sahib sat that day has been preserved at the Gurudwara ever since, marking the meeting of two great souls.
