Mauran
Barnala  ·  Punjab

Gurdwara Sri Dulamsar Sahib stands at the village of Mauran in the Barnala district and commemorates the visit of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

The villages of this district lay along the routes the ninth Guru followed through Malwa in the years before the martyrdom at Delhi, and a great many of them preserve the memory of a halt, a diwan, or a well or pool dug at Guru Sahib’s word. The name Dulamsar, ending in sar, marks such a pool.

The detailed history of the shrine is recorded on the information board maintained at the Gurdwara.
