Gurudwara Shri Killa Sahib Patshahi Chevin stands in the village of Bhidoura, on the Sitarganj-Nanakmatta road about six kilometres from Sitarganj. When the Sidh yogis harassed Baba Almast Ji at Nanakmatta, he came here and prayed for Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji’s help, meditating in this spot while he waited for Guru Sahib to arrive from Punjab.

When Guru Sahib finally reached Bhidoura, he tied his horse to a dry wooden hitching post (qila) that has, over time, grown into a living tree, still marked today by a cloth tied around its trunk; five more such posts, used by the Singhs who accompanied him, likewise grew into trees nearby. From here Guru Sahib went on with Baba Almast Ji to Nanakmatta, drove out the Sidhs and revived the burnt pipal tree. When Baba Almast Ji asked what should be done if such trouble arose again, Guru Sahib promised to return to this very place once every day to watch over and protect Nanakmatta — and is said to have buried an offering of money beneath the same tree, which remains there still.
